Dear Candidate,

First, thank you for running for office. We know it takes a lot of dedication and time to both run and serve.

We are contacting you with an opportunity to share your vision for your city with voters – via the Northshore Social Justice Action Group candidate survey.

In the last local election cycle we surveyed candidates for city office in Bothell, Kenmore, Lake Forest Park, and Woodinville.

• the majority of candidates responded to the survey
• the majority of those who did were successful in being elected

Therefore, we are running the survey again – covering the same topics but with improvements to the wording of the questions and the option to submit responses via an online form.

Like city councilmember positions, we believe social justice is nonpartisan. Therefore we do not endorse candidates or provide an opinion on their responses to our survey – we simply present your answers to voters for transparency into your perspectives on topics they care about.

To respond to the survey you can either:

• Reply to this email with your responses; or
• Complete the online form; or
• Request a phone call to share your responses

The questions in the survey are below.

We aim to publish responses collectively to avoid bias in timing of receipt of responses. The deadline to respond for inclusion in the primary cycle material is July 3rd 2025.
